Mr Stitchy makes butterflies

I don't try for perfection when I sew...to me it is much more fun if you just let Mr Stitchy have his own way with the fabric

painting doesn't need to be perfect either...art should be enjoyable

don't be afraid to try a vast mix or mediums on your project...

JD was my model for this giant flutterby..,

even Miss Tilly tried it on...

smaller versions...what will become of them?

smaller versions? Eye patches perhaps

Smaller versions? Might make good eye patches for Pirate month, or Talk like a Pirate week - the way the calendar rushes pas, it'll be here again in next to no time!

This is so gorgeous and beautifully modelled.

I just love your colours, and would love to 'borrow' your idea in smaller versions for butterflies if I may. I am in a swap to make 12 fabric tags for a swap tag book. Each tag has to be of a layer of fabric, lining, and another layer of fabric. I have managed one side of each then got stuck. The theme is nature and I just love butterflies but didn't want to stamp them. I will of course give you full credit and add a link to your blog, if I get the OK from you.
