The original wearable blooms are still doing well and very popular. I'll be making them as make and takes at Paperific this weekend, and I'll be wearing and sharing some of my new designs along with this Christmas version.

I'm off to Melbourne this week to work for Scrapware at Paperific...this is one of my samplers you will see there.

for now you will have to be satisfied with a sneak peek at these two projects because they are part of my Scraptivate DT commitment. I will tell you this...the chain piece is a very versatile piece, I etched the brass inchies to adorn it and opted for a brass and blue theme, I love it and as I said it is versatile because I have created it to be worn as either a long necklace, a choker or a bracelet.

The larger piece I have created is a large brass plate that has been fired, rusted, etched, inked, painted and made into a hanging art piece...you will have to wait to see the full piece. The photos really don't show the amazing colours and the depth of the laquer.

Art Doll kits pre order now

here are the first 2 art doll kits available...Fleur and Blossom. Each kit contains lots of goodies to create not just the full sized art doll but also a petite version that can be worn on your fave crafty apron or attached to your craft tote. You aren't restricted by colour either because the flowers and gauze in the kits are white, so they are ready for you to stain or dye. The blank 6" and 3" forms fit nicely in Sizzix and Cuttlebug embossing folders. The little faces are blank and with the use of paint pens, or sharpie markers you can make them unique. Each kit is $20 (AUS$). I am taking just 15 of each kit to the Melbourne Paperific this month, I will also have additional embellishment packs for $5 (AUS$) each. You can see me at the Scrapware stand, so pop in and say hi.

I'll be there all day Friday 27th-Sunday 29th of August at the Scrapware stand where you can sit with me and create some wonderful wearable art in our make and takes. There will be lots of new chipboard for you to buy, including my Art Dollz kits. Saturday I'll be teaching the art of "Grunge Chic" in a class room atmosphere.

I am teaching at Fred the Needle July 10th 11am - 2pm ~ Gifted Glamour Cards, with a slight change...instead of making a Bloom ring and Bloom brooch with cards, we will be making a Bloom ring and a Flutterby brooch, call the girls in the store to book in as places are limited.
