Industry

I began this with a plain old shallow backed canvas...but my mind was on all things rusty, I really wanted to create a piece that held some of my most fav. things...impasto, PVA, gilding wax, swirls, rusty things, polymer clay, resin...all of the colour came from mica powders!, In fact I owe a huge thank you to Tracey from Lindys' Stamp Gang for sending me such lovely "Magical Micas", the colours are amazing, I thoroughly suggest you get them in to your craft stash. On this canvas I used them in the follow ways: painted on with wated, brushed on to polymer clay before baking, spritzt on with a water bottle, mixed with impasto. The colours remained true every time. The photos really don't do this piece much justice...the depth is divine, I am really pleased with how it has turned out and will be making some smaller versions to complement this. The size of this one is 12x12 inches

OMG, I love it. I think this is your best effort yet (I still love the little one you gave me for my birthday though).

You know, it's not really fair that just one individual has all that talent. I think it would be much fairer if the talent was shared about a bit more evenly. Say amongst all of her good 'Artzy Tartz' friends. LOL!!! You are my 'Art Idol', I want to be you in my next life.

your work is just amazing! Everytime I see a piece as a thumbnail, it literally makes me gasp .... then I have to have a look at it enlarged and it blows me away. I completely love this piece. Really like its title too.
