I'm a bit of a collector of aprons...some I make and some I buy...most get worn to death. I decided that Sunday is my sewing day and yesterday when I worked at FTN I picked up some great skull and crossbones fabric to create my latest apron.
At first I followed the instructions for a size 14 apron...but on trying it I discovered it was a Barbie doll size 14...very frustrating as I only bought enough cloth for the pattern...what was I to do? I had an apron from a design team I used to work for and if anybody has seen it they know it is really messy, so I stitched the new apron to the old and trimmed where I needed to...end result is a brand new-upcycled apron for me.
