Another dress for the weekend

Vogue 8280 was my pattern of choice today...my one mistake was choice of fabric...I looooove the pattern and colour but it's not a very giving fabric, it's a thick cotton...Fat Betty looks great doesn't she?! It looks fabtacular on me but a bit hard to get a photo...so she is my model.
Well no more sewing till next weekend because I have to get back to my uni assignments and a few other fun activities...stay tuned for the awesome adventures of me!!!

What a fabulous dress that fabric may have been hard to work with ... but I would say - well worth the effort.

Love the fabric Linda. Nice choice. The pattern is great too. You'll have to show it to me one day.

Oh - I am tuned in all right - stalking your every post.

Did you do this just in a weekend? Is there anything you can't do - go on - tell us - you are too talented for words.

Just perfect - did they have little waists in the 1950's - I did too then!

Great dress Linda. I used to dressmake all the time as a teenager (couldnt afford to buy the up to date stuff). I havent done any for years now but there is so much satisfaction in creating an original isnt there?
