my play with Faux Bone

I love new and interesting things and Faux Bone is no exception, I heated it up and merely pressed an inked stamp into the surface...the detail is brilliant, each piece is 1 inch.
My take on what the product is...I really think it is perspex but I have read elsewhere that they believe it to be PVC.

Wow what an interesting product, you have my mind ticking over. Who makes this? Your bird house anove is cute too, I like the paint effects.

You are really doing some cool things with the Faux Bone. We are a distributor and it makes me want to run to the warehouse and try that out. Any special inks you can recommend? Thanks so much for sharing. It's a fabulous idea!

Is this Robert Dancik's 'faux bone'?

I've sawn, carved, drilled, sanded and patinated it, but never thought of heating it!
