Classes at Scraploot

Sue at Scraploot has taken a shine to my creations and has invited me to teach in her lovely store, the 6x6 and 10x10 memory boxes are just one of my classes. If you give the ladies a call at the store they can fill you in on the details...better yet, why don't you pop in! At the moment they are having a massive sale to make way for lots of new goodies.

There are some exciting plans too that include me hosting a regular monthly Friday night where I'll teach you my way of playing with a variety of products and techniques that you will be able to use in your creations.

I'll be working on my list and handing over to the boss lady tomorrow...so look out for that!

Check my list on the right of my blog for all of my classes and details of where you can catch up to play and create with me :)

So...who wants to get their hands dirty?

...and the winner is...

I know I am a day late in posting the winner but I got back from my trip quite late last night..the flight got in early enough but the waiting time at the airport for collection was late. Anyhoo back to the winner...I decided to give away three prizes, the first prize goes to MIMJA, you may choose the original ring or you can opt for your own colours/design which can be in a ring/brooch or unmounted. Second and third prizes goes to NIC F and JANELLE, your prizes are large unmounted blooms in my choice of colours/style. Please send me your postal details within 7 days or I will draw new winners.

I have allowed for people without websites to enter my give aways due to numerous requests. Extra goodies will be awarded to those future winners who do follow or promote my art.
Each person who left a comment was given a non sequential number and winners were chosen randomly by a number bot from random.org

with this ring...give away!!!

yeah I know I am making lots of flowers but seriously how cool is this ring?! Want one? Of course you do! Well I have always aimed to please my faithful followers and so I'm giving you a chance to win a one of a kind Bloom Babe ring topper in your choice of colours...love the art but would rather use it as a brooch? No worries just use some hot glue to attach a brooch back or stick it to a magnet and put it on the fridge!...The possibilities are endless!

Now to win you simply have to post a comment here and place a link to the give away on your blog/web page...I'll use random.org to draw a random number on the 5th of June.

Flooded Canvases...ROCK!

well it's true, they do but I have actually decorated a small smooth rock that I found on one of my walks...yeah I will draw on just about anything! The two new flooded canvases are called "No sign of blue" (bush scene) and "Drowning, not waving" (water scene)...both are 16x20 cm

fusible film flutterby and sample chips...possible mosaic?

I had a sample board of the different fusible films I own...showing the variety of colours...it has been sitting in my drawer for ages and I thought I would glaze them...but not before running them through the cuttlebug and highlighting the raised areas with a swipe of ink.

The butterfly is a small wearable Scrapware piece that got exactly the same treatment. Methinks that I will squish the squares into some texture paste and make a mosaic....maybe even flood them with resin?!

more than just chipboard

I love Scrapware chipboard blooms...I think most people know that and I love that people are having as much fun as me in their recreations of them...after all art is all about playing and experimenting. Today I made some polymer clay faces to adorn some of the blooms, I also experimented with fusible film and layers of diamond glaze to make them super glossy.

more Blooms

I'm excited!
