red wing

I made this red version of my butterfly for one of my fellow TAFE students.

here's one for the scrappers amongst us

I like to think that my art and ideas are as diverse as those who follow my blog and email me to say I have inspired them. I made it through to the final week of a challenge and this is my submission.

Recycled book

I love old books and I have used a lot of torn out pages in backgrounds and in creating embellishments such as flowers, this time I have used the entire book...minus some torn out pages wich were used to make backgrounds and flowers :)

The matte paper/card behind the image is a recycled toilet roll tube, which I put through the cuttlebug before staining and rusting.

Christmas Spirit

My Mum's Birthday is this month and as she is a big fan of the "silly season", I created this for her, don't ya just love the cuttlebugged flowers?!

patina background

I was over at a friends' house a few days ago for one of our Artzy Tartz nights and my good friend, Rhonda had done a lovely patina and gold canvas, I was so inspired, I have used bronze paint and patina, the pieces I have used are Scrapware new release.

Butterfly Swap

I am hosting a butterfly swap on one of the Yahoo groups I belong to, this is the sampler of what I will be making for the ladies taking part in it. I hope they like it. Methinks I will add some wire antennae and maybe a little bling down the body of the critter
